EPIC CNC TRAINING ACADEMY IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

Fenton, MI - Epic CNC Training Academy is accepting applications for the summer 2013 CNC Training and Certification program. The 8-week course prepares CNC Machinists with job-ready machining skills and education to support the manufacturing industry.
Held in a professional manufacturing facility in Fenton, MI, Epic CNC Training Academy’s CNC certification program provides students a professional learning environment that combines hands-on training and academic instruction from professional CNC Machinists and Programmers.
“All of our instructors have more than 20 years’ professional experience working as CNC machinists and programmers,” said Melinda Keway, Director of Epic CNC Training Academy. “The instructors have diverse skills and on-the-job experiences that they are eager to share.”
From industry standard process procedures and machining instruction, to expert advice and tricks of the trade, “our program allows students to experience first-hand what it will be like to work as a professional CNC Machinist,” said Keway.
Using high-end CNC machines and equipment, students apply academic lessons to machine professional products to industry standard quality and safety requirements.
Upon acceptance, students will be assigned to a professional CNC machine and will receive a toolbox of standard equipment and a copy of the Machinist Ready-Reference Handbook.

- Limited space to ensure one-on-one training

Assessment Test*

Epic CNC Training Academy requires applicants to take the WorkKeys® Skills Assessment Test offered by Michigan Works. Applicants must score 4 or better to be considered for the CNC Certification program. Students who meet the score requirement and enroll in Epic CNC Training Academy will be reimbursed for the cost of taking the test.
