How To Get Started

Applicants must be 18 years or older to be considered for enrollment in Epic CNC Training Academy.
Assessment Test
Epic CNC Training Academy requires all applicants to take the WorkKeys® Skills Assessment Test. The Assessment Test can be taken through Epic CNC Training Academy or Michigan Works. Applicants must score 4 (silver) or better to be considered for the CNC Certification program.

WorkKeys® is a job skills assessment system measuring real-world skills that employers believe are critical to job success. The test is comprised of three assessments: Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, and Reading for Information.

Please note: Individuals who meet the score requirement and enroll in Epic CNC Training Academy will be reimbursed for the cost of taking the test.

Application Requirements
To be considered for enrollment at Epic CNC Training Academy, applicants must submit the following application materials at least 2 weeks prior to start date. Must be 18 years or older.
  • Complete the State of Michigan Career Readiness Assessments (WorkKeys) with a score of 4 (silver) or better.  
  • Completed application
  • Resume
